When Isaac is done with his quiet time, he comes into my office and says, “Ask me some questions mom.” Then I ask him things like, “What’s your favorite color today…” and then we play the “Would You Rather” game. Sometimes I throw him for a loop and ask him things like, “Would you rather eat quesadillas all your life, or chicken nuggets.” Then we laugh because he realizes he’d be happy with either choice. And usually, while we’re talking, he lays on my lap and rests his hand on mine. It’s my favorite time of the day.

we love Isaac and miss him too!
Aw Precious! I think that is one of my favorite times of the day too- after a quiet time or nap. I think because I feel rejuvenated and it is then often that they’ll sit on your lap and let you just hold and kiss ’em. What a treausure of a photo.
Seriously so precious.
