As I mentioned in my last post, Laura and her husband Jared came and stayed with us for the weekend. We had a great time together, eating, shopping, playing with the kids, movies, a run for the girls, and Pickle Ball for the boys. We loved every minute with them. The kids barely let them out of their site for a shower.
Laura brought some bread for the kids to feed the ducks with. Both of them loved it, especially since “duck” is one of Lucy’s favorite words to say.
With my swollen-eyed children, recovering from a lovely bout of pink-eye.
A ma’am left these huge bags of super hard bagels for us to throw for the ducks. We opted to stop when the ducks started choking on them.
Gotta love pink eye, huh? Lovely pictures, as always!
Love Lucy’s coat and I’m loving that brother/sister moment. If that would have been my kids, about 2 milliseconds after that shot Ethan would have been in the water face first. Probably cracking his eye on that log there resulting in ANOTHER bruise on his face and I call to CPS by a stranger.
that sister looks so much like you- but a tad darker beauty- i always wanted a sister- alas i got three brothers- but i do have meikel…
Sad Saturday didn’t work out. Better luck (and scheduling) next time. Love that last photo of Isaac & Lucy!
beautiful photos! it reminds me of home!…. at least there is no snow on the ground!> what is up with the pink eye?? I know, its because you are such a great mom and take your kids out to do things! my baby has a cold, I have no idea how that can happen in this climate, I think its because I opened my big fat mouth and said I am so glad my kids are not at home with colds and fever’s and then and few hours later….a cold and fever!
I’m a little freaked out that Lucy is walking and talking! I definitely don’t see your kids often enough. She’s adorable.
Pink eye… I am SO sorry! Will it ever end???
cute pictures, always a treat to check your blog. mark just got the new 5D, big investment, will it be worth it? he already loves it, i’m hoping it pays itself off soon (: he rushed into it buying “the last one in stock on the island.”
that is a sweet bro/sis moment. i miss hanging out.
fun photos, frient. why oh why must the children get the pink eye?!?
have I ever said your pics are perfection? these are great Leah! you could make a dumpster look good! you are so good at taking pictures!
What a nice weekend! I’m afraid to even mention that we haven’t had a bout of pink eye in several years—have I jinked myself now?
I’m totally laughing about the “ma’am” and the hard bagels that made the ducks choke. >>What a fun idea to feed the ducks! We should meet up at the duck ponds sometime. I’ve never taken my boys there. They’d love it.
I LOVE that picture of you and Geoff. What a cute couple you guys are – so glad to have you around!
