Geoff has a conference in Spain, and the day after he returns, another in South Carolina. Poor planning? Believe me, we know. Instead of sitting at home feeling sorry for myself, the kids and I decided to go spend some time with Ami, Poppy, Seth, Caroline and Tommy in Corvallis. We’ve got sewing sessions, a beach trip and a sweet hike all planned out already. I am so excited!!

If I hadn’t have just spent a bunch of money on photos this month, I’d have driven up there and let you go to town on this little 1-yr. old I have. I just ended up taking her to Walmart and she cried everytime I took her OFF the table she was sitting on to get her pictures taken. Isn’t it usually the other way around??? I hope you have a WONDERFUL trip! (And I hope it doesn’t pour on you on your trip to the coast.)

That photo just makes me homesick- especially the bottome 3rd of it- that endlessly wet concrete and that little fish emblem that guards all the Corvallis sewers. Golly is Oregon lovely- and all its wetness! Next time lets coordinate our trips home!
