The morning began with a torrential downpour and ended with sunny skies and a lovely married couple. Caitlin and Spencer are one of the most laid back couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing, and their reception in particular was one of the most delicious and unique events I’ve been to. Here’s to many many happy years together!
I had the pleasure of second shooting the festivities after Ariel and Stephen’s wedding with the lovely Kiera Eve, which was…a while ago. It’s my New Year’s resolution to actually post the weddings that I did last year. They were so much fun to be around, their happiness was infectious. It was both a pleasure and an honor to be there, celebrating the day they became Mr. and Mrs. Martin.
This wedding took place back in September, but I wanted to wait till my blog was worthy of such an awesome wedding to post it. The happiest newleyweds I’ve ever come across, coupled with hundreds of loving friends wrapped up by one wild and crazy reception = one really fun day of photography. Here are just a handful of pictures from the day. Thanks so much Jacque and Marc for letting me be a part of your perfect day.
An opportune gust of wind.
It was so fun to be a part of the “getting ready” festivities with all the girls before the reception.
I’ve done three wedding total over the last couple months since I added weddings to my photography repertoire. I always come away feeling so honored to be a part of such a special day in the lives of two people and their families. When Justin and Alaina asked me to photograph them after their temple wedding in the Bountiful Utah temple, I eagerly said yes. Young love, yes please.
