My dad was in town for the wonderful and quite amazing event of my 80 year old grandma’s baptism into the LDS church. This was the product of years and years of prayers on her behalf. I can only imagine the joy my dad felt as this has been his greatest desire since he was baptized himself, 39 years ago. The baptism was beautiful and so special. Her husband of a month (baptised only a short few weeks ago himself!) was able to baptize her. I am so grateful I was able to be a part of the special event. I’ll cherish this picture of the two of us, even with her wet hair!
Congrautlations to your grandma! What a joy this must be to her and your family, so happy for you all. You look great!
Seeing these pictures made me wish even more that I could have been there. I am still in awe that it all actually happened. And your face does NOT look chubby!
that is so neat leah. and i love that picture of the two of you.
I had a big test this morning but couldn’t focus on studying at all yesterday- my heart was in Utah with you all. I’m so happy for Grandma! And Leah, I agree with Sara- you do not look chubby. I want to see the bump in that dress though- I bet it looks cute.
Are you serious? “Pregnant chubby face?” Before I read the caption at the bottom, I was looking at the photo thinking you are such a bean pole. Please note, the time I spent living with you were among your, shall I say…fuller figure years. 🙂
Leah, what wonderful news! What a special event for your family!>>Amy
Leah I got teary eyed when I read this. That is so neat that your grandma decided to get baptized. That must of been such an amazing experience for you. You look so beautiful. If we were all only that lucky to look as good as you when we are in our 3rd trimester. -jules
