Since we got married, Geoff and I have always wanted to do a sushi party and actually use some of the Asian paraphernalia that we got as presents. Almost seven years later, we finally did. We invited Geoff’s younger brother and sister and their significant others over for a tremendously fun evening. It really was so much fun to make these, who knew? Though they weren’t the prettiest thing you’ve ever seen, they were delicious.
After stuffing ourselves on edamame, pineapple, tempura shrimp, potstickers and Asian salad, we managed to even eat chocolate fondue with fruit and other delicious items, all while playing Catch Phrase. We definetly plan on doing this again!

We’ve always wanted to do that too! I guess we have 4 more years left….
SO JEALOUS! I have been craving sushi and I could’ve eaten that kind! What kinds of sushi did you make then? Did Ike like it? Did you have wasabi and ginger too?>>You guys are so fun!
What a blast! I love sushi! I’ve even made it myself before. It’s definitely not as easy as it looks.
OK, even if the word Sushi is making my stomach turn…still cool pics 🙂
Goota do that sounds like fun and I have to get all the sushi in i can before getting pregnant again..(who am I kidding I still ate it)
Oh, yummy! We have some seaweed that’s been sitting in our fridge (I don’t think you even have to refrigerate it) for probably two years now. Yeah. Well, thanks for the inspiration. Maybe we’ll pull it out and see how it is–I think it’s one of those products that can never go bad.
That looks so yummy…What a fun night!
What a delicious and fun evening. I need to be trained in the ways of sushi. Never had it, and quite frankly I’m a little scared of it. It looks good though!
um thank you for making me salivate and taking me away from the mac & cheese I am eating for the 3rd day straight.
how fun! and sounds delicious!
Sounds like a very fun evening. I have to admit, I’ve never tried sushi…just never had the chance as I live with one of the pickiest eaters EVER! Oooo…and chocolate fondue? Mmmm…
Love the pictures!! I don’t think I could ever pull off a sushi party but I would love to attend one of yours. Not sure I would inhale any but the potstickers sounds yummo!
How fun!
