Amy got the brilliant idea to take all the kids swimming yesterday. While it was a bit of a feat actually getting to the pool, and an even bigger one getting them showered, dressed and fed afterwards…it was a delightful change to staying inside. Thanks for the idea Amy, and next time I’ll try to remember my daughter’s swimsuit!
when my sister in law would take her babies for swimming she dressed them in sleepers – the light stretchy terry ones – they help the baby to hold in more body heat so that you can swim longer.

Bella is SO jealous! all she does is wear her swim suit around all day and pretends she is swimming. how come your kids are cuter every time i see them. wet, dirty, naked …etc.

No, it will NEVER end Katie, I’m convinced. That was such a fun day, Livi is still talking about it. Let’s do it again soon. Get some more fat on your child though so he lasts more than 20 min. Maybe back to whole milk for him?
Oh swimming with the babes! Sounds like you guys had a success. I just enrolled the boys in a parent/tot swim class and Johnny had a ball. Jimmy cried the ENTIRE time. And it was like screaming at the top of his lungs. I think all the other parents hated our guts we were so loud.That sleeper things is a good idea. I have to admit, I can’t help but wonder though what everyone else is going to be thinking though- uh that lady forgot to change her kid out of his pajamas and this is a SWIMMING POOL!I just saw Matt and Jessica’s blog. I about died with laughter. SO you are a closet check city model huh? Did you have to give them your car title? 😉
