This family was kind enough to ask me to take pictures of them in preparation for an incredible day. They adopted this sweet little girl at birth and now six months later, they will be sealed together as a family in a Latter Day Saint Temple in Provo. As you can see, I had a hard time choosing which pictures to post, and I’m not done editing yet! Each picture just brings a huge smile to my face as the love they have for eachother is so evident and so contagious. Thanks again Karli, for letting me be a part of this special and sacred event. I’ll have the gallery up soon.

Leah, you don’t know me, but I’m a friend of Amy and Karli’s. You have a true talent. These pictures are amazing!
oh my gosh these are so precious!
You probably don’t remember me, but I went to high school with you. I just wanted to say thank you for posting these amazing photos. My husband and I are in the process of adopting our first child from Guatemala. It has been a hard process, but when I saw your photos it helped remind me that it will all be worth it in the end. It’s amazing all that can be said and found in a picture. I adore your photos and I appreciate you sharing them with us. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
i love the photos leah, and i love the story too.
these are great! i love all of them. what a cute family. you did such a good job!
These are so beautiful, Leah. I love the first two the most! What a great expression of utter GLEE on the baby’s face when her dad is lifting her up!
I need to book you for the end of April when we are out for my brother’s wedding. FOR SURE. Maybe the 24th?
And these pictures are adorable. Everyone looks so incredibly happy. Sorry, I didn’t want to seem insensitive or something!
These are probably some of my favorites to date….seriously some great work. Not to mention the darling little family. You look so great!
Okay, so that just made me cry.
What a special time for them. How cool. I can see why it’s hard to decide on which picture…they are all fantastic.
We’re approaching the time when we can take David to the temple. I cannot wait! This will be such a beautiful moment, so it’s wonderful to see this family as you captured it! >>I wish we could have you do a shoot for us at this time…but we’ll probably be in Minnesota (since Taylor’s dad is a temple sealer and they live there). You do beautiful work!
these are so wonderful Leah!
Beautiful photos as always. I love that little girl! What a cutie! I love the top pic of the mom and the little girl. Next on my wish list is a lens with that kind of depth of field. Wow. And I love the sky with the white clouds as the background for the next picture, it makes her seem so angelic.
why did you cut off the top of his head in the last one?
