A bittersweet moment for me this morning as I dropped Isaac off at pre-school for his first time this morning. Part of me is so excited for some time with just Lucy and time for work, and part of me wanted to scream “DON’T GROW UP YET!”. He’s so old. I don’t know when this all happened.

It’s so crazy, I know! The worst part is that you go through your childhood rolling your eyes as you hear adults say how fast time flies because you just don’t get it. And THEN you have your own little tykes. . .>Isaac’s a stylin’ pre-schooler though! Hope you both have a good ‘first day’!
He looks so proud!
You’re not kidding. He looks so old! Still cute as ever.
Dying at his cute little Hurley sweatshirt and backpack. can’t believe it.
Cute. And I hear ya – I have a first grader now and I have no idea how that happened.
I have been feeling this way all week. I thought I was excited….then realized how bittersweet it was for me. Hope he had a good time! My Isaac had a blast. No tears, but at least he remembered to say “I love you, mommy.”
Oh man, I’m so dreading that day… It’s going to come too fast!
I know..where does time go! And about your comment about the fat face…please the minute you delivered Lucy you were back to your same small size…I would trade my fat butt right now for a fat face!! And from what I hear its worse for the parents when they enter KINDERGARDEN!!
I did the same thing today!! Brinlee started school. I almost had tears, but I held back. Can you believe how fast they grew up? Seems like they were crawling around yesterday.
Dang it….your bandwidth has exceeded. I’ve got to figure out when that happens, so that I can open a new account. I’m too cheap to pay to upgrade.>>Can’t wait to see pics of Isaac on his first day of preschool.
Too cute!
well, with a hair style like that you can’t help but be a grown up!
yes how does it happen so fast and yet, so slow!
What a big guy! He’s great!
me likey longer hair on isaac- sooooo cute! >>hey!- you need to check out the cover of ‘mens’ health’ mag…very visually stimulating…hee hee!
He really does look like a big boy now, so crazy to think he is in pre-school. I miss you guys!
What a handsome fellow! His hair is so long…too bad you don’t live closer and I would share my new barber chair with you.>>By the way, I can see Ike’s pictures but the rest say “exceeded bandwidth.” >>Is it bad that I didn’t cry when Nate went to preschool yesterday? I figure we still get to see quite a bit of each other and I certainly don’t cry each Sunday when he leaves my chaotic row after Sacrament on the way to Sunbeams.
He looks so grown up. What a handsome blue-eyed boy. I am sure I’ll cry next year when my little boy goes to preschool.
I can’t believe it! I remember when he was just going into nursery. Weird. He seems so grown up lately.
I know, right?! Wait till Kindergarten. It is seriously harder than you think it will be. I think the kids get used to WAY before us moms do. Isaac is such a babe. You better watch out with that one. I mean, his parents are totally HOT, so of course he is gorgeous. Have fun with your free time. You deserve it!
I know what you mean, Dre starts this week! They grow way too fast!!
Did you put false eye ashes on him for school? He is so cute!
