I’m taking an online photography class with the amazing Sheye Rosemeyer. Our assignment this first week was to recreate a childhood memory and use different apertures to do so.
The memory I choose to recreate is of coming home from school to warm and delicious banana bread. I’d put a slab of butter on it (not as large as yours Matt) and devour it. Love you mom. Thank you for such a great memory and your amazing cooking skills!
How fun you’re taking a class to improve your already super awesome skills. That banana bread looks pretty delish. How convenient you have such cute models at your fingertips.
The problem is that if you don’t have the excessive butter on it, it’s not the same.
yum! what a great memory, and great photos of course!
I’ve seen her work. I am often touched by her sweet words about her daughter Ava.
What a yummy memory to recreate. The photo collage is beautiful and I love what the yellow color of his sweater adds to the picture.>>I have been wanting to take a class to do from home so I am curious, what online class are you taking? (my email address is lillianhoyt@gmail.com)
I just clicked on Sheye Rosemeyer’s link and I think I just answered my own question…
I love Sheye’s work as well. I love how she incorporates her photography with her life story plus she is a very talented writer as well.>>Love this memory too! Sadly, I do not recreate it often enough.
PS. LOVE Isaac’s sweater. Such a “crew”-boy.
