Thanks Nina. Both my husband and I are from the Northwest (British Columbia Canada and Oregon), so we love the style of houses in that region and based our house after that Craftsman style. It definitely stands out here in Utah!
Did you bury your trampoline? If so, details would be greatly appreciated! Especially cost of the excavation, depth (as in is it completely flush with the ground or slightly above) and if you had to use any type of retaining wall on the inside. Thanks!
Hi Whitney. When we built the house and the excavator was about to leave, we asked him if he would dig the hole for our trampoline, which he did, for free! We didn’t even have a trampoline at the time, but knew we wanted one and I wanted it dug flush with the ground in hopes that there would be less injury. My husband lined the walls with a large chicken wire type fencing, and then covered that and the bottom with a thick plastic to stop weeds from growing. It’s worked great so far. Good luck!
Yes, that’s the coop. Cute huh! We have to make a run and give it another coat of paint, but I think Geoff did a great job. And rest assured that it’s not sideways, that’s the wide angle lens.
how fun.. I love your blog and your family is just so gorgeous!!! I’m interested in one of those one on one trainings. maybe sometime this summer. You are awesome!!!
Wow, it’s so beautiful where you live! I’m also getting a Scandinavian vibe from these pictures 🙂
