I’m back from a WHIRLWIND trip to Washington where I did two photoshoots and managed to squeeze in some time with my older sister and family. It was a great trip despite all the driving, where I listened to CD after CD of Christmas music and got thoroughly in the Christmas spirit. (as a side note: we purchased Hotel Cafe last night and it is a MUST HAVE. Seriously, my new favorite Christmas compilation next to Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton).
And where were my children during this you might ask? With my fabulous husband who winded and dined them on a variety of sugar cereals, trips to Kangaroo Zoo, loads of Christmas crafts and ended it all with a ship-shape house. Am I the luckiest girl alive or what?

hands down one of my favorite family portrait sessions ever. those stormy shots are unreal. you are soooo good! like major magazine photographer good.
I love seeing familiar faces on here. Especially ones that belong to my cute family. I’m sure they’ll love them. And Ella in jeans??? Unreal!

Birch downloaded the cd this morning–just started listening to it.The kids keep asking why Aunti Leah had to go home so fast. You certainly have an invite back to visit us. And that comment about me being the “older” sister sounds a little ancient. How about my tad older but very beautiful sister!And…love Cher’s short hair du. How come I wouldn’t look so sexy and stylish in such a hair du?
LOVE these too. And I adore that album. I got it a month ago and was counting down the day that your brother would let us listen to it (what a scrooge!)…lucky for me, I listened to it all month while he was at work…
