Discovery #1
Call beforehand to see if A. all of the surrounding SLC schools just happened to be out, and B. if about 20 preschools have arranged to come on that same day.
Discovery #2
If A and B are in place, NEVER, I mean, NEVER go, unless you want to lose your children, AND the adult you came with every 30 seconds.
Discovery #3
While vans are spacious, getting food to four children in one requires the flexibility of a contortionist.
Discovery #4
I would rather pull my own hair out piece by piece then put myself in this situation again.
That being said, I did get some pictures when we apparently were having a good time:
Isaac’s favorite part is the construction section.
And if you ask me to go here again Amy, the answer is no. Unless of course it’s been a year and I’ve forgotten this fiasco.
This was pretty funny. >>Your hair is getting long. Cute.>Love Luli’s scrunchy smiley face.>Loved her shoes too.
Love the picture of you & Lucy – she has the cutest little face!
Ummm, hilarious. Sorry for your pain though.
Of course Isaac’s favourite part was the construction part! I bet he unscrewed every screw in the joint- next Frank Lloyd Wright…. 🙂
Uggh, no bueno. Cute pictures though =) At least there’s that! ha ha
We went to the zoo a couple of years ago under the same situation, and it was beyond hellish. Made me never want to go again. Glad you maintained your sense of humor and got some good photos.>>Amy
I really like all the pics! Oh I so feel for you, but at least you know now 🙂 It’s amazing that you didn’t get any of the other kids in the window in the pic of just Lucy.
Hee hee. I liked the “apparently.” Sounds like soooo much fun.
I’ve really been wanting to take my daughter there but I’ve heard it’s kind of expensive to get in and it’s a bit of a mad house once you’re there. Maybe someday.
You are are so funny! I do feel your pain though. There were many Disneyland trips when I would think, why would I do this to myself?? The things we do for our kids.
my friend sarah and i took our little girls to a children’s museum out here, and watch out! it was pretty scary at times. i was just sure that someone was going to body slam my little aspen. i finally vouched for the baby room and felt much safer there.
i know what you mean about the craziness up there. you are so funny! I love the last picture, you are so pretty even when making a silly face!!
Well, if I hadn’t read the discoveries and only looked at the pictures, I would have said you had a great time 🙂
now from the looks of the pictures, it doesn’t look disasterous at all! so at least you got some way cute shots! i got a little stressed just reading that, though! by the way, i’m going to try and come down next week — interested in planning a little get-together?! let me know and i’ll talk to ash!
ha, I would have loved to witness this fiasco from affar, just for some giggles! I love the photos! you look absolutely darling! Isaac in the helicopter is awesome and how did you not get the camera in the reflection of Lucy lu??.. she’s too cute for words!!
Leah, you are too funny! I could read your commentary all day! You got some cute pictures, though. I always say, whatever the situation…if you get some good shots it was ALL worth it!!
About died laughing reading this. especially love discovery #4. Despite what sara says, you’re still funny.
Sounds nightmarish, I have been in that situation one too many times!! At least you got some darling pictures out of it!!
You made me laugh! Glad the photos make it SEEM like you had fun!!
