Food AND lights. It’s an official party.
The highlight of the evening for the kids was this contraption. We tried over and over again but the bubble kept breaking.
Elisha kept the kids entertained by blowing huge bubbles in their hands.
And then, after some modifications, it worked!
Coke was very serious about it.
The kids practically bathed themselves in the soap solution, which generally would be great, however this particular mix has corn syrup in it…
The birthday girl and her mamma. Thankfully I thought to hand off the camera to get a few of the two of us. Thanks Kristina!

My son sent me a link to this post with these FABULOUS pictures of the bubbles. I love doing things with bubbles — and would like to do something like this with my family. Would you be willing to share your how-I-did-this expertise?

How great, it looks like everyone had a great time. Lucy sure is a doll, we can set her up with my little Landon afterall she is only a few days younger than him.
wow leah, this post was a feast for the eyes. three things: your haircut’s great (it’s so fun to see it short after all the years you had long hair); the first shot with the focus on the bulb is so cool; and third, did you really put the frosting on those cupcakes yourself?
Happy Birthday Lucy. Looks like the perfect day for a perfect summer party. Do you want to plan my kids birthday parties? 🙂
Beautiful photographs, as always.

Happy Birthday, Lucy! I can’t believe she is already 2! What a cute party and adorable pictures, too. LOVE those cupcakes. What is your tool for making the frosting look like that? I must know!

I can’t believe that little miss is 2? Seriously I think she was just born. Did she yell Mimi the whole party wondering where in the world her favorite person was?? So sad I missed it. Everything looks darling and what I would give for one of those cupcakes right about now. Delic. And headband…ok, so cute. XOXO
