We love Hawaii!! This trip was especially relaxing because we have already gone and done most of the touristy stuff there, so we were just able to do a whole lot of nothing and it was the exact kind of vacation we both needed. Having a week of no schedules is quite liberating!
Geoff had two papers accepted for an ED-Media conference held on the island which is why we went. I am so proud of him and all the hard work that he does–and all the great places we have been able to go because of it!
Aside from Delta loosing our bags for TWO WHOLE DAYS, it was a perfect trip. We’re so grateful for family who watched our kids for us. We didn’t worry for one second about them because they were in such capable hands. That made our trip all the more enjoyable. I am so blessed to have a husband that is not only the best companion I could ever ask for, but the best travel buddy too!

Looks like you had a great time. It sure is nice to have a get away.
Fantastic! You have now filled my need for pictures! Love them. I am so glad to SEE what a good time you had. We love your two babies more than ever now!
Ok, I’ll make all my comments about your Hawaii pics here, K!
These are beautiful, Leah, and I’m so dang jealous. Me and Jared were able to go on a long weekend (for his work) in March and that time together ALONE is priceless. I’m so happy for you guys. Ok, my very favorite pics are of Geoff doing a toe-touch..that was just awesome! And, I love all the turtle ones, especially the one of you two holding hands. So cute and your suit is adorable. You guys are so cute I just wanna squeeze ya!
Well I’m glad you included one picture of Geoff “working.” We wouldn’t want to think it was all fun and games.
You captured Hawaii perfectly! Did you get any of those short but intense rain falls while you were there? Did you happen to take any pictures of my favorite flower…the plumeria?
How awesome to have Goat Island all to yourself. I’m definitely looking you up for a refresher of where to go, what to eat, and what to do. My memory is fading fast.
Hey girl! I’m in love with your underwater shoot, so awesome! We’d love to get together for a BBQ. RY’s schedule is not bad this summer, weekends are still tricky, but during the week we’re around, and next weekend we’re wide open. Let’s for sure plan something. Give me some dates, I’ll check with Kar.
What is with going to Hawaii and losing luggage..that happened to us too!
What does Geoff do? What did he present at the conference.
Anyway I LOVED all the pictures, it looks like a blast!! You guys are so cute. And I loved the underwater pictures.
Ok so im D-O-N-E looking at these pics because it just makes me vacation hungary!! Beach hungary!! Even Turtle hungary!!
Looks like Zions or something will have to do for awhile 🙂
Darling suit Leah. I just love vacations. Especially ones that do not include kids.
