Well the pretty part that is beyond the bare dirt. I can’t tell you how excited I am to get in some grass to cover the dirt. My kids are FILTHY 24/7, which is fun for a minute, until I end up vacuuming twice a day and putting my kids in the tub multiple times (see next post). So over it. This green plant is alfalfa and I’m in love with it. I try to look at it only, and not the dirt. It’s the most beautiful, vibrant green!
On this night, Geoff managed to teach Isaac how to fly a kite without wind. It involved a whole lot of running, but he got it up and flying.
isn’t it great having mountains so close for your viewing pleasure?! i feel the same way you do about your kids about my dog. only i don’t bathe him multiple times or vacuum that much. i just put him in the garage instead. probably not a good idea to do that with the kids! they’re pretty cute, though, dirty or not!
We miss the mountains.
oh leah look at that view!! it’s gorgeous. i’m with you on the backyard thing; ours is still being worked on, and it’s so much work! i’ll be so glad when it’s over, and we can actually enjoy having one, instead of it being an eyesore!
Uggh I hear ya!! We ad a literal dirt pile for a entire summer. Great fun for the kids, not so much for mama. Beautiful views!!
thank you for the info on the grout… i too saw them online at home depot, but didn’t know whether they were a good price or not. good to know. good choice on the silver. if it’s ok… and if i do do them, i’d like to link to your blog since you were my inspiration.
p.s. post more house pics!
