Photographing this couple has been one of the highlights in my photography career. Just the kindest people and so sweet to each other. I was so privileged to take pictures of them to commemorate their 40th anniversary at the place they were married (Salt Lake City Utah Temple). They didn’t get any pictures at the temple the day they were actually married, so it was a wonderful gift to them when their kids surprised them by hiring me to take some of them at their special place.
This is how all the pictures started out. If this isn’t the sign of being married for 40 years, I don’t know what is.
This blog is great! Thanks for your hard work on it.
love love love love love it!! I hope to be this sweet when Adam and I are married 40 years!!
that second one is so adorable. What a great gift!
Gosh Leah these made me tear up a bit. Your photography is so powerful. You do such an amazing job at capturing peoples emotion. Bravo! I too hope that my husband I look that great when we have been married 40 years! I love the 1st shot! I already do that to Cameron–we are in trouble then huh??:)
How sweet! Everyone should have gorgeous pictures like these taken later in their marriage! Every shot says so much.
What cute parents I have! Thank you Leah! My favorite is the one on the bench – so cute.

I love these! My favorite is in front of the doors. That is where Logan proposed to me, so I am biased. 🙂
The first black and white one where he has his eyes closed and is smiling. Get out. Cried instantly.
