I know, I know, I haven’t posted in a while. I’m buried in work which is good, but is making me neglect a few areas in my life, which isn’t good. So, I’ll try to do better and keep this blog updated and hopefully very soon I can post some of the work that has been keeping me so busy! I plan on being caught very soon so I can fully enjoy Geoff and I’s trip to…TURKEY!! I couldn’t be more excited. We’ll be staying in Antayla which is on the coast. Thanks be praised for Geoff’s international conferences that I occasionally get to tag along on. Have you been to Turkey? Any recommendations? Anything I should know besides stay far away from Syria?

I was honored to join with with many other bloggin’ moms to team up with Mom’s Best Media to celebrate their launch as well as review products for H.O.T. Products. Mom’s Best Media is a website that will have many different bloggers contributing (including yours truly), and will focus on empowering mothers like yourself. It will feature posts on business, design, fashion, family, food, and giving back to the community.
I was able to evaluate and vote on tons of new products for babies and children that I had never seen before. Boy am I out of the loop! I am now mildly obsessed with Chew Beads, brilliant and why did I not come up with those? And it’s no secret I have a soft spot for quality wooden toys like Bendaroo’s.
You can help vote on these products as well by going to Mom’s Best Media and cast your vote. Voting ends April 7th, so get on it! Products that receive good reviews and high votes, will receive the Mom’s Best HOT Product Seal. This seal will help mom’s everywhere know that these products are mom evaluated and mom approved.

Last week Geoff was gone at a conference in California (just a wee bit jealous), so the kids and I met up with my sister and her daughter in Sandy at the Aquarium. I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. We all had a really great time, until I realized that left my camera bag somewhere and nearly had a heart attack. I kept all the kids while my sister ran around like a crazed woman, knowing how important finding it was, until she did just that. Blessings I tell you!
It is fascinating to watch another photographer at work. I joined my sweet friend and extremely talented photographer, Ashley Thalman for a shoot to take some pictures of her in action. I’m not showing many since they were for her personal use, but here are a couple of Ashley working her magic. I think I’d come off a lot cuter if I took pictures on my tippy-toes. Note to self.
I literally ran around my room when I got this one. You better believe this is going on my wall.
Lucy wanted to show Kate how it is done. She’s a pro, and she likes to accessorize for pictures as well. Naturally.
