Isaac and I go over to Kristina and Bella’s house often since they live around the corner. This time I brought my camera to get some shots of the kiddos playing around and that delicious bundle-Olea. For many more, go to this link. The wall in their bedroom is painted with metallics so the pictures are extra interesting (to me at least) with the way the light played off of it.
Isaac was jumping around with Geoff’s swim goggles on yesterday and it was too funny. I don’t know what it is about goggles or glasses, but he immediately puts them on upside down! What a funny kid.
As an update-we take Isaac in on Thursday for his second eye surgery (to put tubes in). The first one didn’t seem to do anything, so we’re hoping this will do the trick. It’s another quick one thankfully. And, I had my 30 week check up today and everything seems to be in order. She’s head down now (and my back does not thank her for it), and growing just as she should be. I must admit, I’m getting a little anxious to have this little girl here, but I’m grateful for the time to prepare beforehand, and boy is she a lot easier to take care of in here!
Two weeks till Hawaii anyone???
My dad was in town for the wonderful and quite amazing event of my 80 year old grandma’s baptism into the LDS church. This was the product of years and years of prayers on her behalf. I can only imagine the joy my dad felt as this has been his greatest desire since he was baptized himself, 39 years ago. The baptism was beautiful and so special. Her husband of a month (baptised only a short few weeks ago himself!) was able to baptize her. I am so grateful I was able to be a part of the special event. I’ll cherish this picture of the two of us, even with her wet hair!
Here are some pictures of my sweet baby boy Isaac. Strange to think he wont be my baby for too much longer. With Geoff being gone on and off for conferences, we’ve had a lot of time to spend together, just us. We have our hard times, but he’s been so fun and sweet lately, which I especially appreciate since I have a cold right now. Isn’t he darling in these pictures?
Proud sister, Bella.
My good friend Kristina, had her second beautiful girl yesterday. I went to see her today. She is the miniest, aside from her feet. I can’t wait to get some non-hospital pictures of this little darling. As I drove into the hospital parking lot, I couldn’t help but realize I’ll be there in 10 weeks. Can’t really believe I’ll be the mother of two so soon!
My neighbors asked me to take some pictures of their family who were in town for their son’s wedding. The japanese family came for the event, their daughter was their exchange student back in the day and they’ve stayed in contact. The sun just happened to come out right when I brought my camera out–unfortunate, but here are a couple that I thought turned out well despite the conditions.
My sexy foot model, Ethan.
After seeing theses on several friends’ sites, I decided to give my felt skills a try. I’m addicted. I did suede for the bottom so they are extra soft.
This is our little neighbor girl, Ashley. I never realized until today that Isaac has a crush. She came out and he was saying her name, and then the second she came over, he pulled his hat down over his face and started being shy, and then running around like a crazed man. Should I be worried because he’s only 2??
Sweet, delicious, 70 degree weather is here! Both Isaac and I couldn’t be happier. Geoff has been gone for the week at a conference in Texas and we’ve been relishing the warm weather and the opportunity to play outside. We went to the park today, and then after Isaac’s nap, he rode his truck around for 2 hours while I read a book and chased him around. This is heaven for me…well, almost. It would be if Geoff was here.
