We woke up to snow this morning! Isaac was very excited about it. As Geoff’s constant sidekick, he went out to shovel and clip the flowers…in Geoff’s hat.
The fine art of snowflake tasting.
Lucy and I stayed warm inside and practiced sitting up.

Haven’t taken many pictures of the kids for a while, so here’s an older one of Lucy. I was getting depressed seeing my last post.
I can clearly remember the first time I heard this song eleven years ago. It made such a profound impact on me that it nearly gives me chills everytime I hear it.
This song was originally written in memory of the children in Yugoslavia when the Yugoslavian wars started. This particular video accompanying the song is “dedicated to the real victims of war, hatred and unforgiving hearts: Children.”

So we jumped the gun a little this year. Usually I’m a firm believer in waiting till December 1st to get all Christmasy, but this year, since we’re leaving early for Oregon, I talked Geoff into it and we decorated much sooner. Tonight I put Isaac down for the night and walked down the stairs to see this…I love this time of year!
Thanks to this sweet mom who let me take pictures of her kids. The gallery will be up soon Rebecca. Hope you like them!
***DECEMBER PHOTOSHOOTS. We will be in Oregon for Christmas this year. If you are a fellow Oregonian and interested in having pictures taken, please email me!
I’ve been talking about going up to this mine for sometime and today we went. I thought it would be a great photoshoot place, but it took a while to figure out how to get there and there was a hike involved…so WE thought it was great, but perhaps not for a family all dolled up.
What a beautiful, warm and sunny day. Can’t get enough of my cute husband and kids.
Here’s my baby. Five months old and a bit. She is the happiest little thing you ever did see (ok, maybe not THAT little, she’s a chunk). This post is in honor of my sweet sister Emily, and her husband Ryan, who tye dyed this shirt for Lucy. Hooray for my Oregon-hippie roots!
**On a side note: Several people have asked if I do photoshoots. Yes!! I do! Please send me an email, leah@pelousedesign.com to inquire about pricing.
