I know you might think this is cheesy – but let’s be honest this whole birth thing is pretty incredible (and if you’ve never seen an ultrasound you might find this educational.)

FYI-this is a post from my techno-savvy husband. It’s a little long, but fun for us at least. She decided to “nuzzle” her face into my ribs the entire time so we were unable to get any precious profile shots, only the alarming alien version.
Wow, that is so amazing! You must be so excited! It was nice to meet you today and thanks again for the delish bread recipe you gave Ashley–mmmm!
That is amazing! It is a bit alienish but she looks pretty cute! I can’t wait to see and hold the real thing.
that’s wonderful to have that. 🙂 we got a still profile of boy when he was about 19 weeks into gestation.>>seeing that made me want to have another, then i remember late night feedings, pacing at night with a crying little one, diapers (and oh, the odour!) and i remember why i’m glad i’m in menopause 🙂>>many good wishes for you and your enlarging family.
So cool! I’m glad those technicians know what their looking at, because it’s sure hard to tell! Congrats again!
That was so cute. I love the cute little shot you got of the mough and the nose. She looks like she could have some big eyes.
I was going to ask you what you were having yesterday, but totally forgot. I am so thrilled for you! Little girls are so much fun! You have such a beautiful boy, I can only imagine how cute this little girl will be! Congrats!
Hurray!! I’m so excited you’re having a little girl! The video is precious. She looks beautiful and perfect already…just like her momma! I’m also happy to hear Isaac’s surgery went well. That is a very hard thing for parents, we had a few scary things w/ Sophia before she was born and after that really makes you appreciate doctors. Also helps you to be so thankful for the little miracles of such perfect babies! Can’t wait to see the little LEER running around:) Get lots of rest these next few months! We love you and are so happy for you.
I am totally laughing at your comments, Leah and Amy! I will have to agree with all the scary women (pregnant and not) at DownEast yesterday! The monogram thing was hilarious, Amy — people were stuffing bags full of that stuff without even looking at it. I’m like do you know that many people that you can chance getting the initials right?! Crazy! And next time we make the bread, you both are getting total credit, cause whoever came up with that, it is so good!
i’m so excited you’re having a girl!
There is nothing cheesy about this, so precious! It really is a miracle!
See! Now this is the type of thing mothers should be sharing with non-mothers! So exciting and so tender. I am so glad you are getting a sweet little girl!
