Geoff’s parents leave tomorrow for their mission to Laie, Hawaii. They will be teaching at BYU-Hawaii in the classroom, and in the library. Words can’t express how proud we are of their decision to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and leave the comforts of home. We will miss them tremendously.

In the Latter-day Saint faith, you are officially a member when you are baptized. For most kids who grow up in a Mormon household, this special event happens at the age of eight. My best friend Amy’s daughter Livi, chose to be baptized and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Amy asked me to take some pictures of Livi to commemorate the special occasion.
We couldn’t have had a better day to celebrate Lucy coming into our family, much like the day she joined us six years ago. Lucy is a sweet, sassy and talented girl in a mini body. We love her so!
She has begged for an American Doll for two years now and we finally caved. I should post the video of her opening it. Priceless!
We decided on a water party since it was a friend party year.
We did tug of war over a sprinkler.
Then a rousing game of “Musical Towels”.
Followed by “Toss the Water Balloon”, which was more like “Can Anyone Actually Catch A Water Balloon”.
Geoff made a massive Slip N Slide which was a hit.
Lucy couldn’t handle it any longer, so we opened presents.
And had group hugs.
Then we fine-dined on hot dogs, watermelon, chips and lemonade.
And finished the party off with a Strawberry and Cream Trifle.
We love you Lucy!

• Finding confidence to shoot in manual mode in both ideal and and difficult environments.
• Composition, cropping and how to overcome common problems such as blur, motion, shadows and low-lighting.
• Creating the optimal atmosphere to encourage natural expression from even the most challenging children.
With 12 years combined professional experience, Ashley and Leah bring a wealth of knowledge and skill invaluable to any photographer looking to perfect their craft. Come for what surely will be an enjoyable afternoon of instruction, practice and defiantly a few laughs.
