Might as well keep up the family posts while I’m at it! While Geoff and my sister Laura’s husband went mountain biking, us girls kept the fort down. We all loved spending time with them, especially little Isla. It was so fun to have Laura here. She is so eager to help out in any way she can and over the years, she’s become a best friend and confidant. Love you Laura!

Some of you know him as Lucky or Virgil. I know him as Luke, my little brother. He’s kind and thoughtful to others, loves a good conversation, grows hair like it’s no one’s business, and is such a fun uncle. Love you Bookes.

Some things you should know about this little darling:
• The jury is still out on whether it will stay, but her hair (meaning the tuft at the top) appears to be auburn.
• If you say “where’s you’re smile” to her, she’ll smile. Every time.
• She started spitting up a lot, which none of us are fans of. Could it be something I’m eating?
• In general, she sleeps like a dream during the day, but mom would appreciate a longer stretch at night pretty please.
• She has been known to put both fists in her mouth, and occasionally a foot as well. At the same time.
• She absolutely melts each and every one of us and we can’t get enough of her.

My house has been overflowing with cousins and I love it because it doesn’t happen very often. Spending some time with my sisters was the cherry on top. Next time we’ll have to make sure Sara can be here too!
