Here is my sweet sister Emily and I at her bridal shower. I am so excited for her and this new event in her life. I must admit I am a little upset about it though. She’ll be moving to Philidelphia right after and I will miss her more than she will ever know. She’s become one of my best friends over the years. Who would have thought that sisters who constantly fought growing up could become so close! I love you Emily and will miss you dearly, especially Isaac who worships you.
Isaac and I made gingerbread men last week. He was very into it. I made the mistake of telling him that the cinnamon hearts were candy, and then it was over, he was shoving those things in his mouth. He’s a very good helper in the kitchen.
A lucky game of speed scrabble gave me all the letters necessary to break the news to the family! I’m 3 months along, due on the 8th of June and very excited, especially since I am no longer driving the porcelain bus which had become my second job the last couple months.
Livi came over to hang out this morning while Amy was at her appointment. I think my son has a crush. He loves giving her kisses and holding her hand. Livi is a good sport and lets him have his way…at least for a couple more years.
We had such a great Thanksgiving thanks to Geoff’s sister Whitney and family. We ate tons of food, played lots of games, and did a whole lot of shopping. Now that’s my kind of holiday! Isaac even managed to sleep through the nights in the same room with us which was a Thanksgiving miracle in itself. Now we’re back home and I’m missing having Geoff home to hang out with.
Isaac loves his cousins! Hailey is such a good cousin and always made sure that Isaac had a buddy to play with.
We had a rousing game of kickball which everyone participated in, as you can see. Its was lots of fun, and the weather was fabulous. Apparently this is our new Thanksgiving tradition.
