Her favorite activity next to having books read to her:
Isaac finished his soccer season with a bang scoring TWO goals! He improved so much over the season, we’re so proud of him. Isn’t he handsome?
I was so happy to get to photograph the newest member of the Chappell family, my most faithful clients! He is such a good baby!!
Sea World was AMAZING! Totally worth the money. I’d never been before so I was as giddy as the kids were. I really need to get a dolphin to train.
Isaac and I both loved the Polar Bears.
Lucy and Daddy watching the dolphin show. Isn’t my husband hunky?
Lucy and Geoff’s bosses youngest son. She was obsessed with him.
Isaac getting ready for a Shamu spash.
On the way home we decided to stop in St. George Utah for dinner and ate on the lawn across from this beautiful temple.
Geoff had another conference in San Diego, so we all tagged along. I’d like to give a special thanks to portable DVD players, Pirate Booty and Twizzler Pull n’ Peels which helped us make it through the drive.
Thanks to my ever prepared eldest sister Sara, we had two free tickets to Legoland. It was super windy and not the warmest, but we still had fun. Oh, except for when I stood in line with Isaac for a ride for an HOUR and they turned him away because he was a half inch too short. Never been more mad.
We’re back from a family trip to San Diego. Pictures from that to come when I have some time to actually go through them.
Here’s one from today: Isaac getting pumped by his neighborhood girlfriend, Bella. Ahh, Spring!
Sadly, the best picture I had of them together. Could they look any more awkward?
I just happened to have yellow fresh flowers and I couldn’t resist putting them in Lucy’s hair. It took me back to days as a youngster when my sisters and I would put all sorts of flowers in our hair on Sunday and they’d ended up dead and limp after about 10 minutes.
Isaac is really getting into playing soccer. It’s so fun to watch him! This week my all time favorite moment of his game was when he knocked down a little boy and then bent down next to him. Geoff and I were beaming with pride thinking he was going to help him up. Instead he proceeded to start tickling him.
At least they were yesterday. Now they are cold and don’t feel like singing.
On a side note, I had the rare opportunity of being BEHIND the lens today. The uber talented Justin Hackworth shot Lucy and I. Click here to see some of the shots from today. And don’t be alarmed, I am not as serious as I appear in these images. I actually laugh from time to time.
