Today was overcast and rainy…so random, but welcomed. I followed Isaac around as usual with the camera, trying all my manual settings. I was really happy with the coloring I got, dark backgrounds, bright, vibrant colors.
Today we got together and had the kids do some fingerpainting. We made the paint out of vanilla pudding and colored it. I didn’t get any shots of Isaac actually painting, because he didn’t really like getting his fingers dirty, however he did enjoy getting his shirt stained from the popsicles.
On Saturday, after taking Geoff and my brother Seth up to Aspen Grove to go mountain biking, I finally made it over to Isaac’s best buddies house. Estee Furstenau turned one on the 31st and her mom, Amy had a super fun celebration for her. There was delicious food, a pinata, a blow-up castle and CUPCAKES! For some reason Isaac thought he couldn’t use his hands and proceeded to plow into this cupcake with his face. I kept finding him throughout the party with different cupcakes, I’m still not sure how many he ate!
What a great weekend! My younger brother Seth drove up from Moab (he’s a white water river guide there), and we had a great day at Seven Peaks and just hanging out. When Geoff came home from his last day of teaching at the Junior High (YA-HOO!), we drove up to my older brother, Matt’s house in Salt Lake (the last picture is of Isaac feeding their dog, Annie TONS of chips). My parents had come into town for his graduation from WestMinster’s business program. Laura ended up surprising us all and drove from Jackson Hole. What fun and what delicious food we had! The only thing more I could have asked for was for Sara and Luke to have been there, then the family would have been complete.
Today was the first of many trips to Seven Peaks. It was SO fun! It was hotter than ever, so the water was so nice to be in. Isaac especially loved the Lazy River. We also welcomed Amberli to her first Lunch Group with open arms. We wish she could be here for more!
Here’s a whole stair full of friends who know WAY too much about me, but still (to my knowledge) love me! I miss you all terribly and cherish every second we have together, and even though I know all about Russian Bombs, stealing wheelchairs, Brian and Ben escapades, and companions with mirrors….I LOVE YOU ALL!
