One of our family’s very favorite things to do is pick berries. Isaac is counting down the days/years till he can work there. I also rediscovered that my husband’s undying love can be ensured with 16 containers of raspberry freezer jam. FYI.
I had the pleasure of both attending and photographing a fun filled evening with forty-eight other bloggers. There were tables full of new-to-me baby products to evaluate and review. Good food, friends and giveaways ensued, making it a wonderful night made even sweeter by the opportunity to write notes of encouragement to victims at the Riverside Rape Crisis Center. The majority of the products reviewed that night were also donated to the Center. I’m proud to be a part of an group of people that bring awareness to wonderful organizations like the Riverside Rape Crisis Center.
Be sure to check out Mom’s Best Network and cast your vote for some of your favorite products. Every 100 votes and 100 comments will help us donate an emergency kit to the Center.
My sister Emily, came for a short visit after a family reunion up in SLC. She drove all the way from Spokane with her two girls and one on the way, and then drove all the way back. I bow down to her. We all loved having some time with her darling girls and we even got a night out to ourselves to celebrate her birthday!
Thank you everyone for your submissions. There were so many, I wish I could use every one of those cute faces. Speaking of modeling, my friend Sarah, owner and creator of Pepper Lou turbans asked me to take some pictures of her newest products. Lucy got in on the modeling action and we were ROLLING when she started pulling these faces. So fierce.

Seth and Caroline’s Road to Recovery
Each day there seems to be some sort of improvement, even if it’s small. My heart breaks into a million pieces though to see my brother in so much pain and in his current condition. Most of the time, I can keep it together, but there are lots of times where the weight of the situation hits me and the tears come. In Seth’s own words, “It is what it is, and it’s a miracle.”
