After much anticipation (and waiting for a dang Visa), Missy and Diego were finally able to get married this weekend. I was privileged to be able to take some pictures of the event.
And for those of you who have asked if I do weddings and I said “no”…I still don’t, except for this last minute favor and my sister-in-law’s upcoming wedding. Apparently I make exceptions.
My brother Luke, entered the Missionary Training Center yesterday, where he will spend the next 9 weeks learning French. From there he will go to Paris, France to serve the remaining time of his 2 years, serving the people of France and teaching them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re so proud of him!

Getting Isaac to do a real smile for the camera is difficult to say the least. He pulls this fake smile where he flairs his nose and looks so un-Isaac-like. You should see the stuff I have to do to get a real one out of him like this one!

To all those who have been mothers to me, thank you. To my beautiful babies who made me a mommy, I love you! And to the sweet lady I call “mom”: I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my mother you’ll be.
**And thanks to my sweet and thoughtful husband who let me sleep-in, made breakfast, let me take a nap, AND made dinner! Food and sleep, definitely the way to my heart!

I was so excited to take pictures of an old friend and her tan and beautiful family (in town from California, you know, where there is sun). As you can tell, I may have been smitten by their son especially. We miss you guys and we’re so happy to see you this weekend!!
