At the parade. The bagpipes are my favorite part of the whole thing.
On a homemade slip-n-slide at Aunt Elise’s. Followed by a delicious bbq.
I have literally 50 pictures from this photoshoot that we did, just my neice and I. Picking out only five to post was painful. We had a ball–until I broke out in hives and became violently affected by the pollen at our neighbor’s barn. Regardless, I’m in love with these pictures, probably because I’m in love with this sweet girl. I was borrowing a lens from Geoff’s work and now I wish I had used it before I did this shoot as I’m still learning how to work with it on manual settings, so they aren’t exactly as I would like. I can’t get my site to work where I post galleries, so stay tuned for a ton more when it’s up and running. I had to post some to appease the sisters.
The boys: dad, Luke, Seth and Ryan.
The backside of Luke (the only way to get a shot of him with his hair looking normal).
A Baywatch moment.
It was an epic day at the Oregon Coast. I don’t think I’ve ever been there with nicer weather, 62 degree water, and I’m guessing about 80 degrees outside, no wind…NOT common. It was absolutely perfect! We jumped waves while the boys surfed and body boarded.
My nephew Alex, skimboarding.
My big brother, Matt.
The “formerly” Sherry girls and their mamma.
My parent’s with Lucy who is taking a nap.
Lucy and I are at my parent’s house in Oregon. My sister Emily, and brother Seth, each got married in December and we are celebrating their marriages with a big shindig of sorts here in Corvallis. It’s kind of turned into a family reunion since lots of my extended family are coming. I wish Geoff and Isaac could be here too, but they are off on a big boy trip with grandpa and uncle Steve in Idaho. We hope they bring back lots of fish! See you in a week.
I wanted to get a picture of Isaac in this shirt that his grandma and grandpa brought him back from their trip to Hawaii…while it was still white. Geoff came out while I was taking them which meant I could actually get a picture with my little boy! I really need to get someone to take a family picture for us.
When my mom was here I worked her sewing fingers to the bone. Here is a sneak peak at some of the beautiful work she did in Lucy’s room (recovering my rocking chair). It’s so nice to have such a talented mom!
**As a side note, the fellow pictured in the first picture is my third child. I get to wrap him up and “nurse” him several times a day.
