I had the pleasure of both attending and photographing a fun filled evening with forty-eight other bloggers. There were tables full of new-to-me baby products to evaluate and review. Good food, friends and giveaways ensued, making it a wonderful night made even sweeter by the opportunity to write notes of encouragement to victims at the Riverside Rape Crisis Center. The majority of the products reviewed that night were also donated to the Center. I’m proud to be a part of an group of people that bring awareness to wonderful organizations like the Riverside Rape Crisis Center.

It is fascinating to watch another photographer at work. I joined my sweet friend and extremely talented photographer, Ashley Thalman for a shoot to take some pictures of her in action. I’m not showing many since they were for her personal use, but here are a couple of Ashley working her magic. I think I’d come off a lot cuter if I took pictures on my tippy-toes. Note to self.

In November I had the pleasure of shooting one of my very best friends’ new line of clothing in New York. Kamilah Cole is an incredibly talented woman who graduated from Parsons and is now releasing her Spring/Summer 2010 collection. I am beaming with pride as I’ve seen her set a goal and now attain it. She is truly an example of hard work and dedication.
