A few from a quick shoot we did. They live in Washington, so our visits are WAY too far between. I relished every second with them.
The boys, minus their dad who was taking one of the girls to the bathroom.
The girls.

The day after the wedding, Lucy and I went back up to SLC to hang with the family, while Isaac and Geoff went with some Wright cousins to hike in Escalante (pictures from that adventure to come). We all hiked up Ensign Peak and enjoyed a tasty lunch at the top monument which marks where Brigham Young decided where the Salt Lake temple would be built. It was a fabulously warm day. Heavenly.
Emily with baby Sage who snoozed it the whole time.
The view from the top.
Lulu with her cousins, Nate and Tyler.
Ok, I realize I am posting a TON of pictures here, but it’s my sister, and she’s real pretty, and it’s my blog. I also found out at the wedding that I have quite a few followers that I didn’t know about before, so let me formally welcome you and let you know that I’m happy to read comments from you and any other nice lurkers out there.
The Logan Temple in all it’s glory.
Everyone who came.
The happy couple with all the kids (minus Jared’s nephew). My mom cut apart regular sized ties to make mini ties and bow ties, she’s crafty.
I love my sissys!
Laura looked BEAUTIFUL, and radiant and all that other stuff that comes with being so in love. My sister Emily made her earrings and bracelet and my mom, grandma and aunt did all the flowers. My mom also made the lace additions to Laura’s dress. The lace was all from my mom’s wedding dress, how precious is that?
Jared looking handsome himself.
Isn’t my grandma just gorgeous?
This shot is in honor of Laura’s vegetarianism.
Sam, Jared’s adorable nephew.
I’ve never taken a funnier picture. I roll everytime I see this. Lucy and Sofia were sick, Chloe fell over, and Sage was just confused.
Livi’s preschool sent a flyer home about Fire Safety day in Orem. Amy and I decided to take the kids since they love all things fire-related. Turns out, we were a day late. Knowing the kids would be disappointed, Amy ran inside and talked some very nice fireman into giving us a tour of the station and all the emergency vehicles. Unfortunately Livi and Isaac were being quiet shy and wouldn’t try on the fireman gear…so we did.
Isn’t this family darling! They all wore pink in honor of their new baby girl who they are all obviously ecstatic to have a part of their family. Thank you Packer family, especially to their oldest who broke his leg in two places just a week ago and smiled through it all.
I’ll be honest when I tell you that my child may be the easiest child to photograph…ever. It’s taken time, but I must say it’s a joy and complete ease to get a shot of this handsome kid.
And no I did not pose him like this. He came up with this all on his own.
I entered this photo of Isaac into a summer photo contest. If you wouldn’t mind taking a minute to go HERE and vote for this image (image 65, on page 4), I’ll love you forever. And maybe I’m regretting choosing this one now, but whatever, it’s done.
