My sister and her family are in town for her oldest boy’s ear surgery (#4 of 5). Tyler came to stay with me while they are at the hospital. We’ve had lots of fun, playing games, making sugar cookies and going to the museum.
We bought some new dining room table chairs so we had some large boxes hanging around. Geoff cut one up in a make-shift cardboard fort. Isaac was hesitant at first, now he loves it. I’m just hoping I don’t have a permanent cardboard box decoration in my house!
Isaac decided to take a 3.5 hr nap for his morning nap this morning! After 3 hours, I decided I better go in a wake him up. I opened the door which is sticky so it’s quite loud. He is a very light sleeper generally so I was suprised when he didn’t move and continued to sleep. I ran up and grabbed the camera since I rarely get to see him while he’s sleeping and got a couple pictures for memories.

Isaac gets so excited when we mention the word “bath”. As you can see he likes to help out getting his toys all ready and even tries to climb in by himself sometimes!
I had to get a couple pictures of Isaac in his new pjs. They are still a little big, but I just think they are the cutest thing in the world. Here is also a picture of Isaac with the vacuum. He loves it when I vacuum, which seems to be all the time due to the crackers he eats. I say, “Isaac, lets go vacuum.” And he runs to the back closet and waits for me to get there and get the vacuum out. He’s a good helper.
Tammy Chantry and I were best friends growing up. We were inseperable. We hadn’t seen eachother for years, but she happened to be in town this weekend. What a fun reunion!

We have so much fun with Isaac…he’s our little circus monkey.
After playing at the museum, we gathered the kids together outside for some birthday cupcakes. Isaac LOVES cupcakes, and after polishing his off, he moved on to the other kids’.
