I’m sitting here inside, looking outside at some freezing weather. Boy do I miss summer already. Here’s one of my favorites from warmer days. I have a feeling I may be in a bit of photography hibernation with it being so cold now!
I love these kids! Olivia came over to play this morning while her mommy went to a doctor’s appointment. She had previously smashed her cereal in her hair, so I told Amy I would put her in the bath. Isaac wasn’t about to let her have all the fun and wanted to get in too. They were hilarious!!! Isaac spent the first 5 minutes dousing Livi with water. Then we had some camera fun. I am so lucky to be able to be a part of my best friend’s little girl’s life.!
This is how Isaac says “Trick or Treat”. We had a great Halloween, starting with delicious chili at Jen’s house, and then on to Geoff’s parent’s house for some trick-or-treating around the block. Isaac looked so cute and would just stand there and hold out his bucket when someone would open the door. The kid was on a serious sugar high-he’s figured out how to open pretty much any packaging and I caught him with several different unauthorized treats that night!
How cute is my little monkey! We knew this was the perfect costume for Isaac when we found it because he’s OBSESSED with us drawing monkeys, not to mention he loves scratching his armpits like a monkey-I’m going for that shot today.
So, I may have done some photography damage. I was so excited to get loads of pictures of Isaac at Thanksgiving Point in the sweater that my grandma knitted for him. He REFUSED to look at the camera at any point during the hour or more that we were there. I’m truly hoping this is a phase. I must have more pictures of this little guy’s adorable face! Anyways, here are some non-looking shots to display the sweater. Thank you grandma!!
I finally have a quick moment to post something about my week. Nathan and Parker (my nephews from Geoff’s side of the family) have been staying with us the past couple of days while their parents are in Mexico. We’ve had a great time! Sadly the weather hasn’t been too nice, so I’ve taken very few pictures. Yesterday we went to BYU and had a JDawg (best dawgs ever if you haven’t had them_) and then went to the Nickelcade (which they had to be pried from a hour later), and then later in the evening we went to BYU for their open swim. I was so sad when they told me I wasn’t allowed to take pictures! Apparently they thought I might take pictures of speedo wearers or something. The boys looked so cute swimming around with Geoff in their lifevests, and Nate even went off the highdive a couple times by himself! Alas, the only pictures I have from it is off a shivering Isaac in the locker room.
